Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and auld lang syne
I believe no one should be forgotten, and so this is a place for old photos, cemetery data, and other items of an historical nature which relate to people. Maybe you found your way here in the midst of genealogical or historical research, and you recognize a name or a face in one of the posts. Maybe you just like looking at old photographs or grave stones. Maybe you're a sucker for nostalgia. Maybe you just stumbled onto this page at random.
Whatever your reason for being here, welcome! I hope you enjoy and maybe even find the content useful.
If you happen to come across a photo of someone from your own family tree, feel free to let me know! I would be more than happy to mail the actual photograph to you (first come, first served, of course). Additionally, I'd love to know any details you may have about the people in these photos! The more information, the better for others out there who are searching.

As for the person running this little project? I'm just a 30-something genealogy and cemetery enthusiast. I have a BA in Anthropology with minors in linguistics and criminal justice, and am currently studying forensics at the graduate level. I live in an apartment in Texas with my boyfriend, a black cat, and a basset hound.
